Dr. Sadath U. Khan brings a unique perspective to Islamic education, combining scientific precision with heartfelt dedication to faith. His distinguished career in pharmaceutical product development spanned several decades at world-leading companies. He worked at Parke-Davis, Warner-Lambert, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson, advancing from bench scientist to Director and Head of Research and Development.
During his career, Dr. Khan played key roles in developing therapeutically successful medications, including Lipitor, Benadryl, Pseudafed, and CaDuet. His contributions earned him several patents and recognition in pharmaceutical research. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Bangalore University, India, before completing Master’s and Doctoral studies in Boston, USA.
His scientific training influences how he approaches Islamic education. Dr. Khan organizes complex religious concepts into clear, logical progressions that readers can understand and implement. His methodology reflects both his research background and his genuine commitment to making Islamic teachings accessible.
Retirement brought a new purpose as Dr. Khan devoted himself to teaching his grandchildren Islamic fundamentals. Living in Wesley Chapel, Florida, with his wife, Hasina Khan, Dr. Khan enjoys traveling, driving, listening to and singing evergreen songs, and tending his garden when not engaged in teaching and writing about Islam.
